GNK Dinamo Zagreb fails to retain Šutalo: Hajduk offers better development plan
Jerko Leko, Dinamo Zagreb B team coach, said that Dinamo Zagreb offered Anđelo Šutalo a concrete development plan, but he chose Hajduk.
"Šutalo is a grateful player, he was quite standard for me. He is a profile that could maybe survive in Dinamo's system, but he can get a bit lost and lose his position", said Leko.
Dinamo Zagreb signed Anđelo Šutalo in June until 2029, but the young player chose Hajduk as a better development plan.
Šutalo debuted for Hajduk against Žalgiris and showed quality. In the first half, he had several chances, and in the 67th minute, he shot from a good position near the goal.
"I wish him all the best", said Leko.
