GNK Dinamo Zagreb has launched serious negotiations for Dominik Livaković's return. On Wednesday, club president Zvonimir Boban met with the player and his agent Andy Bar. Both sides agreed on a common goal - Livaković's return to Dinamo.

What happened?

Dinamo is sending an official offer to Fenerbahçe today. Livaković's agent and club management will jointly inform the Turkish club about the player's desire to return to Maksimir. Livaković previously rejected Olympiacos' offer as Dinamo remains his priority.

Why is this important for Dinamo?

Livaković was crucial for Croatia at the World Cup. Last season, he spent the second half on loan at Dinamo. His return would be a key reinforcement for the team ahead of European challenges. Dinamo finished 1st in HNL last season with 69 points (22W-3D-4L) and enters the new season with a WWWWW form.

What are the next steps?

The outcome of the negotiations should be known soon. Dinamo is seeking a transfer model that would satisfy Fenerbahçe. It's clear that Dinamo will have to pay a certain compensation for Livaković.
