GNK Dinamo Zagreb wins the Croatian championship title, and their president Velimir Zajec praises the season as one of the best in the club's history. In the new edition of dRevija, Zajec published an emotional text in which he mentions how this season reminded him of the legendary 1981/82 season. In that season, Dinamo showed the strength of unity, the quality of the team, the character of winners, and the belief that Dinamo can achieve what many consider impossible. In the new season, Dinamo went through significant changes. A new Statute was adopted, the first democratic elections were held based on the principle of one member - one vote, and a new assembly, president, supervisory board, and management were elected. Dinamo got a new sporting director, a new coach, a new Youth Academy director, and a new team, strengthened with as many as 18 new players. At the same time, the club continued to grow on all levels. Over 60,000 members were welcomed into the club, 100 days earlier than the previous record season. Dinamo played European spring football and secured a place among the 32 best teams in the Europa League. In the season, Dinamo won the Croatian Cup, and the league's top scorer once again wears a Dinamo shirt. Most importantly, the championship title is back at Maksimir Stadium. While building a new future through the stadium in Kranjčevićeva and later our new Maksimir Stadium, we are also building a strong foundation for the years to come. That's why this season reminds me of 1982. Not because the circumstances are the same, but because the feeling is the same. The feeling that Dinamo has once again shown how strong it is when united. When it believes in itself. When it's led by people who love it, and behind it stand its members and supporters. History teaches us that the greatest victories never come overnight. They are the result of work, courage, patience, and unity. That's exactly why we can be proud of this season. Not just because of the trophies, but because of everything we built together.
