GNK Dinamo Zagreb has adopted a new statute at the club's assembly meeting, which will enable democratic elections. Velimir Zajec, the club's president, greeted all those present and announced new elections. The assembly also informed about the club's financial operations, which achieved a profit of 3.2 million euros in the first six months of 2025. Dinamo's revenues were 37.6 million euros, while expenses were 34.4 million euros. Franjo Šušnjara, the club's vice president, was elected as the president of the assembly's working committee. GNK Dinamo Zagreb will now have fully democratic elections, where each seat in the assembly will be filled exclusively by the will of the members. This will ensure multi-party representation and clear accountability of the president. GNK Dinamo Zagreb has also announced new elections, which will be held after the City of Zagreb registers the new statute in the association register. Velimir Zajec will have a week to announce the new elections. In these elections, all 50 members of the Dinamo assembly will be elected, instead of the current practice where members of Dinamo elect 25 assembly members, and the remaining 35 are appointed by the president and the executive board.
