Inspired Performance with a 5-0 Win
GNK Dinamo Zagreb delivered an inspired and attractive performance against Kauno Žalgiris, concluding with a 5-0 victory. They are now closer to the UEFA League play-off after this first leg of the third qualifying round.
In the first half, Dinamo opened the scoring with two goals. At minute 31, Miha Zajc scored from 20 meters for the club's 150th goal at Maksimir in the European Cup and Champions League system throughout history. At minute 33, Scott McKenna scored from a central position just outside the penalty area to make it 2-0.
Maintaining Performance with Two More Goals
In the second half, Dinamo added two more goals. At minute 51, Josip Mišić scored from 18 meters on the right side for 3-0. At minute 76, Luka Stojković scored from 18 meters on the left side to make it 4-0. In stoppage time at 90+4, Lukas Kačavenda scored from 18 meters on the right side for 5-0.
