Following Dominik Livaković's decision to leave Dinamo, the club has turned its attention to a new goalkeeper option. The focus is on Dominik Kotarski (26), who came through the Croatian youth ranks from 2011 to 2018. Kotarski first played for Dinamo Zagreb’s youth team, where he made 73 appearances and 46 for Croatia's youth side.

He then moved to Ajax, Gorica, and PAOK, winning the Greek championship with PAOK in 2024 before joining FC København last year. Kotarski has been a regular starter for the Vatreni since March 2024 and was also part of the recent World Cup.

A report from FC København suggests that Kotarski may be closer to returning to Maksimir. Diant Ramaj (24), who is on loan with Borussia Dortmund, has visited the club's medical center for a check-up. The Danish newspaper Bold reports that negotiations are underway for a loan deal with an option to buy for five million euros.

Ramaj’s return is seen as a sign that Kotarski may have the opportunity to leave Denmark and return to Croatian football.

Dinamo Zagreb and Kotarski: A History of Training

Kotarski has always been associated with Dinamo, and his potential return could mean a comeback to the top division in Croatia. Last year, Kotarski became an integral part of FC København’s team, making 32 appearances and scoring two goals.

Contract Value

On Transfermarkt, Kotarski's contract is valued at five million euros. His former club Dinamo Zagreb has also recognized his worth through 12 appearances in the Croatian league and 46 in the national youth team.
