GNK Dinamo Zagreb has sold striker Wilfried Kanga to Saudi Al-Fateh for 4.1 million euros. Kanga spent only one half-season with Dinamo.

Kanga moved to Belgian Gent in the summer of 2025 for 1.2 million euros, where he showed a significantly better form. In 39 appearances for Gent, he scored 12 goals and recorded five assists.

Million-dollar transfer

Al-Fateh has officially confirmed the arrival of the 28-year-old striker and announced that the contract is signed until the summer of 2029. Kanga comes from Belgian Gent, which has earned significant revenue through this transfer. According to information from Belgium, the total amount could reach around 5 million euros with bonuses.

Kanga in Dinamo

Kanga is known to the Croatian public for his short stay in Dinamo. He arrived in Maksimir in January 2025 from Herthe for 1.7 million euros as a big name in attack. However, he did not meet expectations. In the spring part of the season, he played 16 matches and scored only three goals, while also hitting the post five times.
