GNK Dinamo Zagreb has started preparations for the new season, and coach Mario Kovačević has expressed satisfaction with the previous season, but also ambitions for the new one. Kovačević announced that Dinamo will try to bring in new reinforcements, especially a wing and a replacement for Mišić. The Champions League is the main goal, and Kovačević said that Dinamo is not afraid of anyone. The Blues will start the Champions League qualifiers on July 23, and Kovačević will have 40 days to prepare the players. All players are there, except for Stjepan Radeljić and Scott McKenne, who are at the World Cup. The goal is clear, to qualify for the group stage of the Champions League. Dinamo will start the preparations in Zagreb, and then they will go to Brdo near Kranj. There, they will complete the central part of the preparations and play two friendly matches, and then two more in the final preparations in Zagreb. Kovačević said that he is happy that the players are complete and that they will start seriously. Pressure is always present in Dinamo, but Kovačević said that they have a foundation and will improve. Many Dinamo players are on the market, but Kovačević said that he is very satisfied with the cooperation with everyone and that there will be more changes. They have brought in Mislav Oršić and Stjepan Radeljić, and Kovačević said that Oršić will help on and off the field. We want to bring in more players, especially a six and an eight, said Kovačević. I've gotten used to the fact that there will be a lot of changes, but I think there is a lot of interest in our players. We are aware of that, but the sports sector is working with the president and I believe they will make the best decisions.
