Milan Badelj, who served as assistant to Jerko Leko last season, now leads the junior team independently. 'I was looking forward to this. For me, it's a new beginning, despite staying in what I've been involved with my whole life,' Badelj said. ## What are the goals for the new season? 'The main goal is to have as many players as possible ready for the first team and B team. Results are always important, but developing players is the priority,' Badelj added. Last season, the junior team won the double and reached the Premier League International Cup semi-finals. ## What's next for the juniors? The junior team will compete in the 23rd Mladen Ramljak Memorial from August 6th to 9th at Maksimir Stadium, aiming for their 15th title. Their league season begins on August 22nd.
